YOUR CALL. YOUR CHOICE.

YOUR PHOTOS & PRIVACY.

Team Radio Sepang is an independent Kelas Sekejap community project. No account is required. A radio call becomes public only when you confirm the form.

What goes on the Pit Wall

Your call sign, chosen team colour, category, flag, zone, direction, optional queue estimate and caption, observation time, and approved photo. These are community observations, not verified announcements. Use a nickname rather than your real name if you prefer. Share only pictures and words you have permission to publish.

You choose the public location

Photo GPS suggests an approximate spot on a roughly 220 metre grid. You can tap the review map or use its arrows to move that spot before posting, or choose a listed area instead. The browser rounds photo GPS before saving or sending a location, and the server rounds custom spots again. Listed areas use their general area centre. Area markers are not exact boarding points, spectator gates or navigation instructions. The review map shows the public area before you choose Post to Pit Wall.

“Near me” uses your location in this browser to sort reports. It does not publish or continuously track you. Declining location permission still lets you choose a zone manually. Reports made through the earlier map can retain the approximate or exact location their author consented to.

Photos are reviewed first

Your browser resizes the photo and creates a new JPEG. The server removes embedded application metadata, including EXIF GPS and device details. We upload only the resized image and confirmed approximate public location, not the original file or filename.

The text/status call can appear immediately, while its photo stays private in a Cloudflare R2 bucket pending review. Only an authenticated moderator can preview it. Approval makes the photo public; rejection removes the photo. Review is manual and is not guaranteed before a call expires. Avoid faces, number plates and private details unless you have permission.

Expiry and removal

Gate and weather calls expire after two hours. Traffic, shuttle, parking, facilities and food calls expire after three. Moments expire after 24 hours. Expiry starts at the observation time; confirmations do not extend it.

You can remove your own call using the browser you posted from. It leaves the feed immediately and its photo is deleted. Expired content is unavailable publicly and is normally purged by the next hourly cleanup; a large backlog can take longer. A two-day bucket lifecycle removes orphaned uploads. We cannot remove screenshots or copies other people have already saved.

Bang Jo, voice and sharing

Live radio uses Google Gemini Live for speech recognition and spoken replies. After you press Start live radio and allow the microphone, audio streams directly from your browser to Google during the call, including in demo mode. Your name, selected area and a short conversation context are sent to Google to keep the conversation coherent. A call lasts up to three minutes. Ending it, leaving this page or switching to typing stops the microphone. Uploaded voice notes are sent through our server to Google Gemini for transcription.

Typed questions currently use Cloudflare Workers AI with event guidance and recent, structured crowd observations. AI replies and transcripts can be wrong: check the words and official sources. We do not save the private conversation or audio in our report database or media bucket. Google and Cloudflare process requests under their own service policies. Only the report you review and explicitly send is published to Pit Wall.

Your recorded voice stays in this browser with the saved My Radio entry until you delete the entry or clear browser data. MP4 exports include that original recording when available. Editing the text does not change the spoken words. The model’s voice is not saved in the clip.

Radio and strategy cards are made on your device from the content you select. Downloading does not publish them. Your device’s sharing sheet lets you choose a destination. Video exports include your original recorded voice when available; entries without a recording remain silent. Choosing Post to Pit Wall confirms the sharing notice beside the button. Offline reports are stored on this browser after you consent to publication, and retry while this page is open and connected; their original observation time is preserved.

Your private My Radio journal

A personal copy of the entries, conversation transcript and resized photos you publish is saved in this browser’s local storage database. Up to 100 recent entries remain on this device after public calls expire. Delete private entries in My Radio. Clearing site data removes the journal; it does not remove public calls from the server. Download a card or an MP4 replay with your original voice when available to keep a copy elsewhere. Demo entries stay in memory and disappear when the demo is reset or the page reloads.

Your browser and our servers

An essential HttpOnly cookie lasts up to seven days. A hash lets the server recognise your own calls and avoid duplicate reactions. D1 stores report data and hashed reaction/session identifiers. Clearing cookies removes your ability to manage previous calls from that browser.

Language, call sign, team colour and packing preferences may be saved on this device. For abuse prevention, temporary counters use a rotating hash of your network address and session; the report database does not store raw IP addresses. Counter records are removed after expiry. Cloudflare processes requests and may retain operational records under its policies.

Maps and moderation

The map uses OpenFreeMap with OpenStreetMap/OpenMapTiles data. Devices without WebGL use OpenStreetMap tiles. Map requests disclose your network address and requested map area to the tile service. These pages have no advertising or analytics scripts.

“Flag for review” alerts a moderator; it does not guarantee immediate review. Moderators can hide calls and remove photos. This map is not an emergency service. For removal help after losing your cookie, contact Kelas Sekejap through the main website with the call text and approximate time. Never share your browser cookie.
